"Command, this is Aleksei. I would like to request an assault team ASAP." radioed Aleksei. "Aleksei, this is Alpha 2-1 actual. Why are requesting an assault team?", radioed back command.

"I am at Phantom base Delta, and would like to take the base. It has several important files, which i have been asked to get. If we were to assault the base, it would give us an advantage over the Phantoms." Aleksei replied. "Understood, Aleksei. However, we can only send 2 teams of 6." radioed command. "Thats all i need." Aleksei said. "Keep them 20 yards away. The forest should cover them. Once you hear a loud bang, head to the base, and open fire on the barracks. DO NOT OPEN FIRE ON THE BACK OF THE BASE. That is where i need to get the documents. Once you drop the troops into the base, have them clear each room. We cannot let anyone radio back to near bases. I will destroy the Radio Tower in the base." Aleksei said, as he laid out the plan. "This should be quick." Aleksei radioed, and then he hung up.

Marching to the Radio Tower, he planted several C4 explosives on the leg of the tower. Then, he marched over to the Fuel Reserves. There where 7 fuel tanks, so Aleksei decided to only plant one explosive on each tank. Running to the room where he was staying, he pressed the button, and then, BOOM.

Blind-firing from his AK, he quickly ran out. He took his Glock, and blind-fired that as well. Halfway through his mag, he didn't hear anymore gunshots. Upon looking over the table, he saw that all the Phantoms were either killed or wounded. Reloading his AK, he walked over the dead bodies, and returned to the courtyard. He and the rest of the Ghosts were evacuated, and left the base to the military's hands.

Note From Author: This is my first time "writing" a story, and as such will probably have bad grammar, and poor storytelling. Please point out every fail to help me improve this story.

Chapter 1: Cadet Infiltration

Report 1-23-19

Vasiliy, it has been such an easy task to infiltrate the Phantoms. I've made friends with several people, most notably Capt. Johnson, an administrator at Base Delta. He's shown me the entire place, except for the back of the office complex, which is reserved high-level Phantoms, however, i have gotten a key off him, which was quite easy. I mean, he left it on his desk. These Phantoms, the ones who are apparently "the best of the best", are drunk half the time there not on duty.

However, the mission i have been sent on has come to a halt. Most of the information i have to get are kept in the high-level complex, which is guarded 24/7. If i were to get in there, i would need to kill 5 Phantoms at least, or set off some explosives to use as a distraction. But i have to get the files by Friday. Wish me luck. Your Captain, Aleksei.

Chapter 2: Explosive Entry

Aleksei, or as he called himself, Pvt. Thompson, was going to the Fuel Reserves. He had one goal, to cause a distraction, get the files in the high-level complex, and get out of there. However, he thought of something. If he was to blow up the Fuel Reserves, why wouldn't he just set up an assault on the base? He would provide an tremendous advantage, as it was only 25 miles from a Ghost base.

"Command, this is Aleksei. I would like to request an assault team ASAP." radioed Aleksei.

There where 7 fuel tanks, so Aleksei decided to only plant one explosive on each tank. Running to the room where he was staying, he pressed the button, and then, BOOM.

Chapter 3: Fast Ropes

Soon after the boom, 2 helicopters flew to the base. "This is Red Star, Opening fire on the barracks." the pilot of one of the helicopters said. 2 mini-guns opened fire on the barracks, and didn't face much resistance. The helicopters arrived at 02:37 military time, and made short work of the defenses. Soon, the Fast ropes dropped down onto the base, and 12 Ghosts dropped down.

"Alright everyone! Get into your groups!" yelled one of the soldiers. Soon the two groups split up, and started room clearing. One of the soldiers was Eduard, an Uzbekistan native. As they cleared each room, Eduard saw a mysterious soldier running to the back of the base. Eduard decided to chase after him. What Eduard didn't know was that was actually Aleksei, dressed in a Phantom uniform. As Eduard entered a room, suddenly 5 phantoms opened fire. Barely missing them, he dived behind a table. Armed with only an AK-12, Glock 17, and a knife, he was outgunned, and surrounded. There was only one thing left to do. Fight.
